What is Workplace Retaliation?

Workplace Retaliation is any adverse action taken by an employer against an employee as a result of the employee engaging in protected activities, such as filing a complaint, reporting discrimination or harassment, or participating in an investigation. This can include termination, demotion, reduction in hours, or any other action that negatively impacts the employee’s work environment or job status.
