What is Labor Force?

Labor Force is the total number of individuals who are employed or actively seeking employment within a specific country or region. It includes both full-time and part-time workers, as well as those who are temporarily unemployed but actively looking for work. Individuals not actively seeking employment, such as retirees, students, or discouraged workers, are not considered part of the labor force.
